How do I know the medicines delivered are authentic?
While we take the utmost care in selecting our channel partners, the product is being supplied directly by the vendors associated with the Company and the Vendor concerned shall solely be responsible for the authenticity and genuineness of the product so ordered. Please check your products before accepting them. Having said this, we have put all our vendors through rigorous checks and periodically audit their activities to ensure that you always get the very best!
Do you deliver medicines in emergency situations?
We delivery medicines in Delhi NCR and Rest of India from Delhi which take 4-7 days.
The network and pharmacies for whom we act as lead generation platforms, take pride in our quick service times, Medjio is NOT to be used in emergency situations. Please visit your nearest hospital or call on 108 for Emergency Medical Services.
So, how will I get my medicines?
With medjio you can buy online medicine. The prescriptions that you provide to us is passed on to our partnered pharmacies in Delhi. The sale of medicines is governed by various laws, which necessitate that the sale be carried on only by a pharmacy having a valid license, under the supervision of a pharmacist on the basis of a valid prescriptions by a registered medical practitioner.

Hence, as per these laws - your prescriptions is passed on the local pharmacy, who will verify its authenticity, and based on the same - provide medicines to you.
Why do I need a prescriptions to get medicines on Medjio?
Sale of drugs is covered under various laws. Government of India has mandated compulsory prescriptions for certain medicines. While some pharmacies might entertain your orders without prescriptions, we do not let the pharmacies in our network entertain orders without prescriptions, and all lead generations are only on the basis of a valid prescriptions. This ensures you receive the correct medication.
How does my prescriptions get validated?
We check if a registered medical practitioner has generated the prescriptions. We then look at the date of visit and duration of medication, to check if the prescriptions has expired. We also check if the quantity of medicines ordered matches with the prescriptions.
What is an ideal prescriptions?
An ideal prescriptions should at least have the following things clearly visible:
  1. Doctor's Name
  2. Doctor's Registration Number
  3. Patients Name
  4. Date of Prescribing
Please note that this is only for guidance and doesn't guarantee the delivery of medicine. The final decision on accepting or rejecting a prescriptions will be taken by our partner pharmacy who has the legal license to do so.
How is my order processed?
Step 1: Customer uploads the prescriptions
Step 2: Pharmacist reviews and digitises the prescriptions along with a order cart
Step 3: Customer will select the required items along with quantity and selects the mode of payment as desired
Step 4: Our partner pharmacy will deliver the medicine at your doorstep depending upon the availability
Please note the value shown in the order confirmation screen is just an approximate value and you will know the actual price when it is invoiced in the pharmacy after you confirm the order.
If the mode of payment is card/netbanking, then you will get an email with the invoice amount to be paid along after it is invoiced in the partner pharmacy. This step is to ensure we collect the exact amount after the invoice is finalised.
If I upload a prescriptions, will my order be confirmed immediately?
No. After we validate the prescriptions, our vendor will then confirm the stock availability. We will send you a SMS and email, if we are unable to fulfill some medicines.

As a lead generation platform, we only connect you to the pharmacy - which after due verification of credentials and your prescriptions – may confirm your order. Please read the terms and conditions of the website.

Will I need the original prescriptions at time of delivery?
Yes. As per the government regulations, If you order a medicine that can only be prescribed by a qualified medical practitioner, patient must be in possession of the original prescriptions at the time of delivery. So keep it handy when our delivery personnel comes to visit you.
Why do the prices of medicine vary?
Medicine prices vary by geographical location and often change on a day to day basis due to regulations and distributors. The prices listed on our site act as guidance and help you understand if you are paying the right price for your medicines. We also offer discount on medicine which is displayed under category ‘Medjio Offers’.
Why are there multiple pages for the same medicine?
The same medicine often comes in different strengths, usually indicated by salt weight. Further they come in different packs, aimed at frequency of usage. Please check for the correct version of the medicine specified by your doctor.
Where does Medjio obtain the information?
We have many qualified pharmacists onboard who scan thousands of products to provide you the relevant and useful information about your medicines. We periodically review and update the information you use. Please read our Terms & conditions to understand your responsibilities and liabilities.
What is a generic substitute?
Substitutes depend on the composition and strength of constituent salts. Substitute are medicines made by other manufactures using the same salt composition as your prescribed medicine .These medicines are often more affordable. Please note that substitutes change with the salt strength, even for same medicine name.
Can I just buy another medicine listed as substitute?
Yes, you can buy other substitutes if you prescriptions lists the salt names instead of a brand name. In fact, you must engage with the pharmacy, and seek counsel of the pharmacist who will call you to help you better understand your medication. You can always encourage your doctor to write salts name on your prescriptions instead of a specific brand name.
Where can I check my order status?
You will receive regular SMS & Emails about your order. You can also track your order from your order history section. If there is any delay or change in your order, our customer care will call and inform you.
What is your cancellation policy?
If after placing the order, you would like to cancel it, you can do so by signing in to your account at www.medjio.com in the order history section of the website or order cancel by us due to improper prescription provided by user.Once the order has been approved by our team, please contact our customer care team at 9873268111 for cancellation requests. If the cancellation request is received prior to the order being shipped, a complete refund will be made in case of COD or an amount equal to 2.5 % of prepaid amount & Rs.50 processing charges deducted from prepaid amount will be refunded in case of prepaid or debited to your e-Wallet .Once the order is shipped, cancellations are treated as returns and the process outlined in the returns section will be applicable.

www.medjio.com, it is our constant endeavor to provide our customers with the best products at the best prices. If for some reason, you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return it in its original condition within 15 days from the date of delivery or exchange.

Returns Procedure

To initiate a return, please contact our customer care at 9873268111. Our customer care team will note down your request and help you with the return process.

  1. In areas serviced by Medjio logistics team, you will be contacted by our team member to organize the pickup of your return. Please ensure your availability and shipment readiness to facilitate the speedy processing and resolution of the returns process.
  2. In areas not serviced by Medjio logistics team, our designated courier partner will be contacted to enable the return shipment.
  3. Alternatively, you can send the product back to us using a courier of your choice.

Refunds

On successful receipt and processing of your return, an amount equal to the value of goods returned minus any applicable shipping charges, reverse shipping charges, COD charge (if any) or 2.5% charge in prepaid,Rs.100 processing charges and discounts will be refunded or debited to your e-Wallet. A notification informing the same will be sent to your registered email address. You will be able to use this amount for any subsequent purchases at www.medjio.com. If for some reason we are unable to accept the return, you will be informed accordingly.

Conditions for return

  1. Products should be unused
  2. Products should be returned with original price tags, labels, and bar-code. In case of strips, only full unopened strips can be returned.
  3. If the product has a gift associated with it, the gift has to be returned along with the product in original condition.

Non returnable products

  1. Due to reasons of health, safety and fair use, the following products cannot be returned once purchased:
  2. Products that are perishable in nature like food items
  3. Electronic items that have been assembled or installed
  4. Personal hygiene products and beauty accessories
  5. Gift cards & certificates

Damaged products

In the unlikely event that any product you received from us is damaged:

Please do not accept delivery of the item if the outer packaging appears damaged or any way tampered with. If after you open the packaging, you discover that the item is damaged, you can return the product to us for a refund. Please note that we cannot promise a replacement for all products as it will depend on the availability of the replacement product. In such cases, we will offer a refund.

Can I also order through E-mails?
Yes. You can send the list of medicines, your full address, contact number and valid prescriptions to order@medjio.com We will then process the order and send you a confirmation.
  1. Make a list of all the medicines you'd like to order.
  2. E-mail the list to us at order@medjio.com. Please ensure that you provide your full mailing address including the pin code.
  3. We'll get back to you via mail on medicines we service to the given address. Once we confirm the same, the order will be processed.
  4. If you have ordered prescriptions medicines, you need to scan the prescriptions and send it along with the e-mail. You can also upload a legible photograph if you are unable to scan it. Our service partners will not process your order without a pre scription.
  5. Our partners will then fulfill the order at the earliest.

Delivery Charges
Delivery charges for each order is Rs. 49/98.
What if I am not at home when the products are delivered?
In case you are not at home, please nominate a neighbour or someone close by who can receive the order. Ensure that they have the payable amount.
If my order does not get serviced?
We strive hard to service all our orders. However, in case we cannot, we will refund the cost of the medicines.
Payment options available
We currently take payments in CARD, CARD or BANK Transfer. Cash could be handed over at the time our service partner hands over the order to you.
